My First Post

I have always had a passion for writing. At one point in my career, I wrote HTML code instructing employees how to resolve claim processing issues. I moved on from code writing and started writing requirements and formal responses to claim denials (in actual words, not code). I enjoy writing because I usually fumble my words, The thoughts in my head move faster than my words at times. Well, okay A LOT.

I find humor in almost everything even when it’s not exactly appropriate. Not to be mean or to actually be inappropriate, but because life is too short not to enjoy yourself. Humor is very important. In fact, if you don’t have a sense of humor, we can’t be friends. Just kidding, we can, but I promise to make you smile and hopefully laugh with every post.

Every day I see and hear things that astound me, crack me up and move me. I’d like to give you something interesting to think about (i.e., the view from my couch) or a different perspective on everyday life. With humor, of course. You may not agree with my point of view and that’s okay. Afterall, it’s just my view and I’m just a retired wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
